EPARS (Evaluation Profile Analysis and Reporting System) software aids in interpreting results obtained from the CVES and is a valuable asset in generating an evaluation report.
The report can be individualized using popular word processing software such as Microsoft Word. The report predicts an individual's potential level of vocational and residential programming.
The evaluator can customize the report in many ways, including adding narrative information, results from vocational interest and work personality tests, etc.
Here is a sample EPARS report:

VERBAL-SPATIAL-COGNITIVE INTERPRETATION
Linda's VSC standard score of 110 (average of WAIS VIQ andCTB) is in the bright normal range of verbal-intellectual
functioning. Linda's scores on the CTB Verbal factor were
significantly higher than her scores on the Performance factor,
thus suggesting relatively better skills or aptitudes for
verbal-language oriented activities and information processing, as
contrasted to non-language intellectual pursuits using primarily the
touch senses for learning. Vocational objectives which focus on
verbal-language oriented functions may be more appropriate for
Linda.
Linda revealed strengths contrasted to her overall cognitiveabilities in the following areas:
Memory for verbal-language oriented information - This factor is
considered a "relative strength" and is also above average for
the general population. It may suggest that Linda can learn and
remember verbal instructions at a higher rate and level than the
overall VSC factor score would predict.
SENSORY INTERPRETATION
Linda's Sensory factor score of 85 is in the low normal range whencompared to the norms for the general population. She demonstrated
approximately equal performance on measures of touch senses on both
sides of the body. She is able to perform tasks that require tactual
discrimination of different shapes, sizes, gross textures and
configurations. For example, she may be able to identify differences
in various materials such as cotton, silk and synthetics and the
specific spatial configuration of objects. These abilities may
facilitate learning, tactual exploration and work task performance.
She may also have sufficient fine touch to facilitate learning
braille. Perceptual integration abilities related to position in
space are demonstrated at this level. These abilities may facilitate
orientation and mobility skills. Once a task is learned, she may be
able to sufficiently organize her work with only a normal amount of
environmental structuring or supervision.
Linda is able to orient to stationary objects in space andfollow moving objects in space. She is able to move freely within
familiar surroundings such as her own residence or work area.
MOTOR INTERPRETATION
Linda's Motor factor score of 108 is in the normal range whencompared to norms for the general population. She demonstrated
moderately better performance on the left side of the body as reflected
by measures of speed, strength and coordination. This is consistent
with her report of being left hand preferred until later being
encourage to transfer to right hand dominance.
EMOTIONAL/BEHAVIORAL INTERPRETATION
Linda's Emotional factor score 62 would suggest moderate emotional
or behavioral problems in contrast to the norms for the general
population. However, the Emotional factor is significantly deficit
when compared to the average for all of the assessment factors, thus
suggesting the possibility of more serious adjustment difficulties
than would be predicted by her Emotional factor score alone. Please
refer to the accompanying report of neuropsychological evaluation
for further interpretation of this factor.
INTEGRATION/COPING INTERPRETATION
Linda's Integration-Coping factor score of 93 is in the normal rangefor adaptive behavior as compared to the norms for the adult general
population.
Residential Living Skills - Linda demonstrates "relative strengths"
in skills related to adjustment in a residential setting. Her scores
on this factor were also in the normal range for the general
population.
Daily Living Skills - Linda's Daily Living Skills factor score is
consistent with her overall adaptive behavior level.
Academic Skills - Linda's Academic Skills factor score is consistent
with her overall adaptive behavior level.
Vocational Skills - Linda's Vocational Skills factor score is
consistent with her overall adaptive behavior level.
